An Eintracht Frankfurt director says United States international Paxten Aaronson is set for another loan spell next season.

The midfielder swapped Philadelphia Union for Eintracht in November 2022 but to date he has played just 22 times for the Bundesliga outfit. He was sent out on loan to Eredivisie side Vitesse in the second half of last season and despite impressing for the Dutch side, it appears he will head out on loan for the 2024-25 campaign.

Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche said, via Pro Soccer Wire: "We will find a solution for Paxten Aaronson, which will probably involve loaning him out again."

The New Jersey-born player made his big move to German football in late 2022 but the transfer has not worked out well for all parties so far. The fact that they are willing to send him out on loan suggests he may have a future at the club but is not part of their immediate plans.
