Former Love Island star Dyer, who is the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny, has been with England international Bowen since 2021. They are now the proud parents of twin girls and are happily based in Essex – as Bowen continues to catch the eye for club and country.

While Dyer is pleased to see her partner impressing for West Ham and gracing England’s squad at Euro 2024, she is concerned about what the short and long-term future will hold. A source has told : “Dani is the proudest woman in the country right now after Jarrod has become part of the England squad and she knows this is just the beginning for him. She knows how hard he has worked to get here and now he’s in the squad, he wants to be a permanent fixture. But she also knows that he’s going to get more attention from other clubs and he may have to leave West Ham if he really wants to make it.

“Dani’s biggest fear is that he will be signed up for a club abroad with an offer he can’t refuse as there has been some interest already, which would mean turning their whole lives upside down. She’s unsure if she would be able to leave her family and her support network but she couldn’t stand in his way and that’s the life of a professional footballer. Also her dad would be devastated if he left his beloved West Ham but Jarrod’s career is only short and he wants to be the best.”

Bowen is in the shop window while on European Championship, with Dyer travelling to Germany to be by his side. The OK source added on what could happen from here: “Now she’s a fully fledged member of the England WAG squad she knows the pitfalls that it can bring. She’s seen what has happened to some of the strongest relationships in football and although she and Jarrod are very strong, she knows that after this summer everything is going to change and not just football-wise. Jarrod is going to be more in demand and busier than ever and sadly she’s aware that he’ll get more and more female attention – some women don’t seem to care about wives, girlfriends and kids when they see a footballer out and about. And Jarrod is so down to earth and friendly that she’s scared he’ll be taken advantage of. Obviously she trusts him 100 per cent but their relationship has been quite low-key until now but because of her career and his ongoing success, he is now one of the most recognisable players in the country and that brings added pressure and attention.”

WHAT NEXT?

Bowen is tied to a long-term contract at West Ham through to 2030, which will help to keep his asking price high. The Hammers have no intention of parting with the 27-year-old winger, but their hand may be forced if a big-money bid is tabled.
