The Senegal international was sent off in the first half of his team's 2-0 loss at St James' Park after a VAR review caught him elbowing Sven Botman.

Chelsea will take no disciplinary action against the 23-year-old as the club have accepted that such incidents are inevitable, reports. Jackson made no apology to his team-mates for the red card and instead hopes to make up for it by scoring in the Conference League final.
